How?

The way we often see historical developments reflects an object-oriented metaphysical framework. We see events—wars, treaties, summits—as discrete things, objects, moments in time. This doesn't just shape how we interpret the past; it also informs how we try to build the future. Efforts in Nordic unification have so far tended to focus on one-off events—big bangs, grand agreements, symbolic gestures. But this often misses the point. When Nordic unification was last seriously proposed, a key limitation was this eventological view: the idea that unification could be achieved through a grand media event leading to a single agreement.

For Aurora Center, unification is not a one-time event—it is also a multidimensional, open-ended process that unfolds in culture, politics, the economy, and the collective psyche. We work toward concrete milestones, but always with the understanding that unification is never finished.
